The first Spring Preview Day on East Mississippi Community College's Scooba campus took place Wednesday, April 22, with more than 100 students from Kemper County High School and Noxubee County High School in attendance. More


East Mississippi Community College President Dr. Scott Alsobrooks, center, cuts a ribbon to commemorate the completion of a project to construct new sidewalks, courtyards and seating areas on the college’s Golden Triangle campus. At the April 17 ribbon cutting, Alsobrooks is flanked, at left, by MDOT Public Information Officer David Kenney and EMCC Board of Trustees member Hazel Johnson. To the immediate right of Alsobrooks are EMCC Board of Trustees member Evelyn Murray and Lowndes County Board of Supervisors President Trip Hairston.

About 40 employers will be on hand to accept resumes and speak with job applicants on Wednesday, April 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Communiversity during Employer in the Foyer, a job recruiting event hosted by East Mississippi Community College’s WIOA Career Services and the Mississippi Department of Employment Services’ WIN Job Center.
